"Coach Sunchild", Athletic Lifestyle Coach
Carleigh is from North County in San Diego, CA. She has been a multi-sport competitive athlete since childhood, initially competing at regional and state levels in club swim, crew, volleyball and basketball. In 2015 she began training the art of Muay Thai, going on to compete semi-professionally. In addition to fighting pro rules in a Thai stadium at age 18, during her career Carleigh ranked #2 and #3 in the U.S. in two weight classes and earned 1 Regional, 1 State and 2 National Championship titles.
She retired from competition in 2022 to focus on coaching with a record of 12-2-0. She has over 10 years of experience working with athletes of all ages and 10 years of experience in athletics coaching, including Muay Thai, boxing, group strength & conditioning and personal/private training, surfing, swimming, and skiing.
Carleigh is a certified Primal Health and Fitness Coach by the Primal Health Coach Institute and is continuing her education with their Strength Training for Women Specialist certification. After years of training as a competitive athlete and coaching at multiple levels, Carleigh has a vision to promote longevity and performance for all ages by means of a functionally holistic lifestyle.
After experiencing her own self-motivated health and wellness breakthroughs, Carleigh is prepared as a coach to deep dive with her clients into discovering and resolving whatever is preventing them from thriving-- be it autoimmune flareups, gut issues, inability to sleep well, or chronic stress. Her holistic approach leaves no stone unturned. Carleigh's philosophy is that simple steps towards wellness yield complex, beautiful results.
